Go completely Dordogne
at Le Mas & Le Mazet
Offering superb hilltop views of the glorious Dordogne countryside,
Le Mas is a 5-bedroom farmhouse (10 guests) and Le Mazet a 1-bedroom cottage (2 guests). They can be rented together for up to 13 guests.
A winding private drive leads you through a wood and fields to the
golden stone 16th century property. Roses, jasmine, wisteria and lavender scent the air. Bask by the pool, have a siesta in a shady spot, enjoy the tranquility, play ping-pong, sit by a roaring fire.
Loving transformed into an award-winning “luxurious rural retreat”
(The Telegraph), the houses have bags of character and history. Well-equipped and well-maintained, it’s a place to fall in love with.
The bastide towns of Monpazier and Beaumont with their cafés and markets are 10 minutes away; Bergerac airport is 35 minutes away.
Le Mas & Le Mazet are perfect to explore the best of the Dordogne: castles, vineyards, markets, prehistoric caves, truffles and stunning scenery.
Le Mas

Le Mas, ‘the farmhouse’, offers you space and modern comfort alongside its thick stone walls, exposed beams and fireplaces. We brought it back to life with the help of an interior designer, combining its 16th century history and rural charm with understated style and discreet luxury.
Le Mas comfortably accommodates up to 10 guests, or can be rented together with Le Mazet for up to 13 people. It’s a great house for families and groups of friends.
A few steps away from Le Mas is the covered summer kitchen. Gather at the long dining table and fire up the big barbecue. A jasmine-scented terrace overlooks the private, heated, saltwater swimming pool and the stunning Dordogne countryside.
A house for all seasons, there’s a spacious family kitchen and comfortable sitting room, both with large fireplaces with wood burners (firewood included). 5 bedrooms, each with their own bathrooms, are spread over the ground and first floors.
Le Mas has been awarded 5-stars by the Ministry of Tourism and is described by The Telegraph as a “luxurious rural retreat…superb”. To help ensure a great holiday, we can arrange for a private chef to cook for you, wine tasting, morning deliveries from the baker and lots more.
Le Mazet

Le Mazet is the perfect bolthole ideal for couples.
It’s a gorgeous cottage and garden with views over the valley to the 11th century village church and château.
There’s a bedroom and en suite bathroom on the lower ground floor. On the upper ground floor is a double-height sitting room and open kitchen with stone walls, exposed beams and a contemporary wood burner in the fireplace.
Le Mazet does not have use of a pool, but it does have a private garden complete with sun loungers, parasol, charcoal barbecue, table and chairs. Lavender and rosemary grow in the garden, with roses and jasmine climbing the walls of the cottage.
There is a covered table tennis area, a covered pétanque court, outdoor games and spots from where you can enjoy the views.
Well-equipped and comfortable, the cottage has been updated without losing any of its history and character. It’s been awarded 4-stars by the Ministry of Tourism and The Times described it as a ”cosy cottage”.
We can arrange for pre-prepared meals to be delivered, massages, morning deliveries from the baker and lots more to make your holiday perfect.

We are thrilled to have been featured in The Sunday Times in 2022 and 2023, about running Le Mas & Le Mazet and Gîte Guru, advising clients about starting up and running holiday homes in France.
